Analisámos tudo, fotograma a fotograma. Aqui está o resumo completo.
Rockstar chose Netflix as the exclusive launch platform — a clear sign of a strategic partnership. The Extended Look went live on the platform at 6 PM Lisbon time on August 27th, and only about two hours later it was published on Rockstar's official YouTube channel.
Unlike previous trailers, this is not marketing material. It's raw gameplay with a visible HUD, status indicators, minimap, inventory and real camera transitions. Rockstar wanted to show the world that the final product is ready — launching November 19, 2026.
💡 Important note: The Extended Look was recorded on a near-gold development build. Some visual and UI details may still be getting final polish before launch.
One of the biggest highlights of the Extended Look was seeing the real-time swap between Jason and Lucia. Co-studio head Rob Nelson confirmed in an interview that the system works like this:
More brute force, access to the Vapid Ganado (pickup), garage in Kelly County
More agile, precision heist specialist, garage in Vice City
Confirmed: the 6-star wanted system is back. In the Extended Look we see Lucia fleeing police in a chase that starts at 2 stars and escalates fast. At 5 stars, SWAT enters with advanced containment tactics. At 6 stars — something GTA 5 never brought back — military assets arrive.
The system has been redesigned. Police now use cover intelligently, flank moving vehicles and call in reinforcements by radio in real time. There's also a "witness" system — if an NPC sees you commit a crime and calls the authorities, your wanted level rises even without cops present.
One of the most fascinating new mechanics: the Criminal Profile. It works like a dynamic police file that records your behavior throughout the game. If you've been going on pedestrian killing sprees, police will be on higher alert around you — even when you're not doing anything wrong at that moment.
The system adapts NPC reactions to your playstyle. A frequent car thief will have NPCs rolling up windows and locking doors when approached. Someone who regularly causes explosions may have civilians fleeing in the distance even without any threatening behavior in that moment.
Rockstar's numbers are staggering:
"We wanted Leonida to feel like a real place where real people live, not a set built to be destroyed."
— Rob Nelson, Co-Studio Head, Rockstar GamesThe driving physics have been completely rebuilt. In the Extended Look we see:
Rockstar confirmed GTA 6 runs at 30 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X at launch. There is no confirmed 60 FPS performance mode for launch — something that has generated significant debate in the community.
The reasoning is technical: the game engine was built to maximize visual fidelity, world density, and NPC simulation. Rockstar chose consistency at 30 FPS over a 60 FPS mode with visual reductions. There is speculation a later patch may add a 60 FPS mode, but nothing is confirmed.
The Extended Look confirmed what the community suspected: GTA 6 is the biggest production in gaming history. Not just in budget — in ambition, detail, and density of systems. Every minute of gameplay reveals details that will take years to fully discover.
The date is firm: November 19, 2026. Pre-orders are open. Standard Edition is $79.99 / €89.99 and Ultimate Edition is $99.99 / €109.99. Digital preload starts November 12.
