How to Enter Cheats on Xbox

In GTA 5, Xbox cheats could be entered via button combinations on the controller or through the in-game phone. GTA 6 is expected to follow the same pattern, with the phone dial method being the most reliable approach. Both Jason and Lucia have phones visible in the Extended Look gameplay footage.

Expected Cheat Categories

• Health & Armor — full restore
• Wanted Level Up/Down — add or clear stars
• Weapon Sets — full loadout spawn
• Vehicle Spawns — cars, bikes, aircraft, watercraft

Do Cheats Disable Xbox Achievements?

In GTA 5, cheats disabled achievements for the active session. Reloading your save re-enabled them. The same is expected for GTA 6 — complete your achievement runs before using cheats.

Expect GTA 6 to follow the same framework — most cheat categories will return with different sequences. The in-game phone dial method will be the most reliable option.

Cheats in GTA Online (Xbox)

Cheats are disabled in GTA Online on Xbox, just as they were in GTA 5. Any site claiming to offer "Xbox money cheats" for GTA Online is misleading at best. Rockstar bans accounts for using modded lobbies or external money-hacking tools.

Legitimate GTA Online income: missions, heists, businesses, and the Shark Card system. No shortcuts — by design.

Xbox Game Pass and Cheats

If you're playing GTA 6 via Xbox Game Pass (if it becomes available there), cheats work the same as a purchased copy. Your save file, achievements, and cheat behavior are identical. One note: cheats disable Xbox Achievements for the session, same as GTA 5. Reload your save after a cheat session to re-enable achievement tracking.

Save First, Cheat Second

Always manually save before using any cheat. GTA 5 disabled auto-save when cheats were active, and GTA 6 will almost certainly do the same. Keep two save files: one clean (for achievements), one for experimenting freely with cheats. This is standard practice in the GTA community and applies equally on Xbox.
